I cannot express to y’all how perfect this little coffee shop is. The cappuccinos came out at a perfect temperature, the cold brew was good enough to drink without any milk or sugar and the food that we ordered still makes my mouth water when I think about it. I literally got a 2nd cup without even realizing just because there were so many things I wanted to try and nothing disappointed me at all.
The coffee and food is delicious but the coffee shop is so much more than that. It’s actually a non-profit organization that is raising money and awareness to help stop human trafficking! The whole place is decorated in a really unique way with a ton of information about what they do and what you can do too to help stop the exploitation and trafficking of humans. Check out the signage behind me in the picture below!
Our cappuccinos were their Secret Squirrel and the Red Baron. I also got a cold brew coffee and my mom got an iced Americano. We had crab cake sliders too (cue mouth watering) but don’t get too excited because that was a special guest chef that was only there that Sunday. They do have pastries though! Here’s a link to their website, A 2nd Cup . I highly recommend that you pay them a visit if you’re ever in the Houston Heights area.
Let me know what you think!
